Rena Yehuda Newman (They/Them) is a Jewish, transgender writer, artist, and history student at University of Wisconsin, Madison. Currently working as the Student Historian in Residence at their university’s archives, Rena Yehuda is curious about how memory impacts identity and the power of documenting stories of struggle and solidarity. Rena Yehuda self-publishes zines and pamphlets, including “House of Jacob/People Israel: A Trans Jewish Zine” and the “Gender Euphoria” collection, a Kickstarter-funded collaborative project between trans writers and artists.
